Introduction

Now that Mr21 and Mr19 no longer want to socialize with us old folks, my husband and I with our 4 legged fur baby are planning the next chapter in our lives. We now have free time for ourselves, which at the beginning we didn’t know what to do with. We felt lost. For many years my youngest was actively involved in representative basketball, which meant travelling around NSW 6 months a year. Which meant mum was travelling for 6 months of the year with him. Mum was also silly enough to put her hand up to be the team manager. Wow. All our weekends were taken, no family holidays for 6 months, with all the travelling, it used all my annual leave from work. Now the boys are in university and pretty much have their own lives. So husband and I took our first overseas holiday, last year, since the kids were born. Loved it! We bought a camper trailer last year and are planning to travel on our days off whenever we can. We live in Wollongong NSW by the beach, but long for the bush, hence the camper trailer.
